Library Rules

Every library user must comply with the following rules:

1. The civilian especially students or researchers are allowed to use library services only if they get special approval.
2. All library facilities and services are only available to MOTAC staff and Agencies under MOTAC, including Tourism Malaysia and the Islamic Tourism Center (ITC).
3. Users who want to use the Discussion Room, need to fill out the Discussion Room Reservation Form at the Library Service Counter first.
4. Library users are required to maintain cleanliness while using the service area.
5. Children of MOTAC/Tourism Malaysia/Islamic Tourism Center employees who follow library activities must follow the rules and instructions of the library staff.
6. Employees of MOTAC/Tourism Malaysia/Islamic Tourism Center who send children to the library need to be responsible for ensuring the safety of their children by making sure they follow the library staff instructions.
7. Doing any damage to library property and reading materials intentionally/unintentionally is A MISTAKE.
8. The library will NOT RESPONSIBLE against any loss and damage to personal property.
9. The library reserves the right to amend or add any rules from time to time for safety and coordinating library management.

Loan & Renew Policy

Loan and Loan Renewal Policy for all MOTAC/ Tourism Malaysia / Islamic Tourism Center citizens

1. Every citizen of MOTAC/ Tourism Malaysia / Islamic Tourism Center is allowed to borrow a maximum of 6 (six) books within 2 (two) weeks.
2. Citizens of MOTAC/Tourism Malaysia/Islamic Tourism Center are only allowed to renew once via phone call.
3. Books that have been renewed must be re-borrowed at the service counter.

*FINE:

No fines are charged for late books / lost books. However, the library will issue a friendly reminder email and a show-cause letter to borrowers.
